Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

The route from Ngorongoro descends onto the Serengeti’s plains, with an afternoon game drive on arrival as your guide checks the most recent reports on herd position.

Day 2: Full Day Migration Tracking

A full day follows the herds across the plains based on their current position.

Day 3: Full Day Migration Tracking

Game drives continue in search of the migration and the predators that follow, with time built in at areas of active herd movement.

Day 4: Central Serengeti Game Drives

A further day exploring the Seronera area rounds out your time in the park before heading toward Ngorongoro. Because this drive covers ground already scouted during the earlier days of the itinerary, guides often return to specific kopjes and tree lines where recent activity was reported.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

A descent onto the crater floor offers a compact, self-contained ecosystem where lion, elephant, buffalo, and often black rhino are seen within a single game drive. Because the crater’s walls largely trap its wildlife within a roughly 260-square-kilometer floor, game density here is considerably higher than almost anywhere else on the Tanzania circuit.

Day 6: Return to Arusha

The return drive climbs back through the Ngorongoro Highlands one final time before descending toward Arusha, closing out the safari.
