The drive takes you through rural landscapes, roadside markets, and traditional villages, offering insight into everyday Ugandan life. A major highlight along the route is a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will enjoy a guided walking safari to track white rhinos on foot. This conservation project plays a crucial role in reintroducing rhinos to Uganda after decades of absence. After lunch, you continue to Murchison Falls, arriving in the late afternoon. If time allows, you may visit the top of the falls, where the Nile River explodes through a narrow rock gorge with tremendous power. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge inside or near the park.

The day begins early with a sunrise game drive across the northern savannah plains of Murchison Falls. The morning light provides excellent photography opportunities as wildlife is most active during cooler hours. After returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, you head out for one of Africa’s most spectacular boat safaris along the Victoria Nile. The cruise takes you upstream toward the base of the falls, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and countless birds along the riverbanks.
