4 Days Serengeti Great Migration Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
A scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands brings you down onto the Serengeti plains, with an afternoon game drive on arrival as your guide checks recent migration reports.
Day 2: Full Day Migration Tracking
A full day is spent following the herds across the plains, with your route adjusted based on the migration’s current position, whether that’s the southern plains, the central Seronera area, or the western corridor.
Day 3: Full Day Migration Tracking
Game drives continue in search of the migrating herds and the predators that follow them, with time built in at active areas.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Return to Arusha
A final morning game drive is followed by the drive back to Arusha. Guides here typically watch these same granite kopjes first thing in the morning, since resting lions and leopards often use them as a lookout before the heat of the day sets in.
