Mweya Safari Lodge

Mweya Safari Lodge sits on the Mweya Peninsula, a promontory jutting into the Kazinga Channel within Queen Elizabeth National Park, overlooking the water where hippo and elephant gather along the banks throughout the day.

Setting

As one of the park’s longer-established lodges, Mweya occupies one of the more central positions in Queen Elizabeth, putting the channel, the Kasenyi plains, and the park’s crater lakes area all within reasonable driving distance without long transfers between activities.

Activities

The Kazinga Channel boat cruise, launched from near the lodge itself, is one of the most reliable wildlife-viewing activities in the park and is usually paired with morning or afternoon game drives across the surrounding plains.
