Mount Gahinga Lodge

Mount Gahinga Lodge borders Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, the smallest of Uganda’s national parks and part of the wider Virunga volcanic range shared with Rwanda and the DRC, positioned for both gorilla trekking and the golden monkey trekking that Mgahinga is particularly known for.

Location

Set at the base of the Virunga volcanoes, the lodge gives direct access to Mgahinga’s single habituated gorilla group as well as its golden monkey troops, an activity available in only a few places in East Africa and often paired with gorilla trekking on a following day.
