Your 12-day safari to Northern Uganda Safari adventure begins upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. After clearing customs, you’ll be welcomed by your guide, who will transfer you to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore the bustling town of Entebbe, known for its lush botanical gardens and serene Lake Victoria shores. Overnight in Entebbe or Kampala, depending on your preference.
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a half-day city tour of Kampala, Uganda’s vibrant capital city. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Uganda Museum, the Bahá’í Temple, and the Nakasero Market. After the tour, enjoy lunch in Kampala before heading eastwards towards Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. The drive to Jinja takes around 2 hours, allowing you to take in the scenic countryside. Upon arrival in Jinja, you will check into your hotel, ready for the exciting activities lined up for the next day.
Start your day with a visit to the source of the Nile, one of the most historically significant sites in Uganda. Stand at the exact point where the Nile River begins its journey across Africa. After this, you’ll embark on a day filled with thrilling adventure activities. Try your hand at whitewater rafting on the powerful rapids of the Nile, bungee jumping over the river, and quad biking through nearby villages. For those who prefer a more relaxed adventure, boat cruises along the Nile or horseback riding are also available.
After a day filled with adrenaline and adventure, return to your accommodation in Jinja for a well-earned rest.
On Day 4, set off early for a full-day drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and beautiful parks. The long drive offers stunning views of the Ugandan landscape, including distant mountain ranges, rolling plains, and remote villages. Kidepo Valley National Park is famous for its rugged savannah landscapes and unique wildlife species.
Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and prepare for a full day of exploration in the park the next day.
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park. Known for its vast wilderness and abundance of wildlife, Kidepo offers excellent opportunities to spot animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and numerous species of antelope. The park is also home to over 470 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.
Explore the Narus Valley, where most of the wildlife congregates, and experience the raw beauty of this untouched wilderness.
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, where you’ll have another chance to spot wildlife in the park. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Karamojong people, who live in the region around Kidepo. Visit a Karamojong village to learn about their traditions, way of life, and vibrant culture. This cultural experience will give you a unique perspective on how the local communities coexist with the wildlife in the area.
After breakfast, embark on another full-day drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest national park. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the top of the falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge and plunges into a thunderous waterfall. The sight of the mighty Murchison Falls is breathtaking and provides excellent photo opportunities.

Today, visit Budongo Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience.
