Known as a kingdom of primates, Kibale Forest National Park is home to over 13 different species of primates, including main chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, olive baboons, bush babies, pottos, grey-checked mangabeys, and mammal species like forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, and duikers.

The Kanyanchu Primate Walk is the main attraction in Kibale. Approximately thirteen species can be found, and a wide range of diurnal monkeys are always present.
