Queen Elizabeth National park fees 2024 -2026
Queen Elizabeth national park is Uganda’s most popular savannah park and the best Uganda safari destination to see the rare tree climbing lions, the park takes pride in a great diversity of habitats including lakes, savannah grasslands, forest and wetlands which serve as home to the biggest variety of large mammals.
Queen Elizabeth national park is located in the western Uganda lying between Lake George and Albert with Kazinga Channel crossing through the park covering an area of 00 square miles.
Queen Elizabeth national park is a home to 6th highest diversity of birdlife in the world and is ranked to be the highest population in the world, the park is also a home to 95 mammals including 4 of the big five (lion, elephants, cape buffalo and leopards). Queen Elizabeth national park is also a home to 10 primates including chimpanzees among others.

Note
Annual park fees in Queen Elizabeth National Park applies in the following incidences
- Applies to all and only foreign residents living in Uganda and East Africa countries, vehicle entrance is paid separately
- Not valid for package activities such as gorilla and Chimps trekking, mountaineering, hiking and others
- To qualify for annual passes, Foreign residents require a work permit valid for one year
- Safari guides – is an individual who guides guests through nature weather by vehicle, canoe, boat horseback or on foot while explaining some of the remarkable secrets hidden within the natural environment of Uganda.
- Tour Company driver – is an individual from a recognized Ugandan tour company who drives tourists to park.

- Vehicle and boat entry fees are charged per 24 hours except for concessionaire visitor vehicles who are to pay once per trip in the park
- Vehicle entrance to Queen Elizabeth National Park are to be charged an additional fee of USD for foreign registered vehicle and UGX 100,000 for Uganda registered vehicles
- Rescue vehicles to be charged the same rate as other vehicles according the vehicle classification
- the Executive Director, Motorcycles, trailers, vehicles with inflammable goods, livestock, produce, poles, timber, sand, market merchandise, bowsers, heavy trucks, roll loaders and others are prohibited in the protected areas including Queen Elizabeth national park, unless

- Protected Areas with Vacant Staff Houses will be rented at UGX 200,000 per room per Person per month for East African Researchers and US$ 150 per room per month by Non-East African
- Water and electricity will be paid separately
